About TNNA

The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) is a professional organization now in its 35th year.  Representing over 2200 companies, the organization includes wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, independent manufacturers reps, designers, publishers, teachers and others involved in the specialty, hand needlearts industry.

Just under a billion dollars in value, this niche industry includes the providers of products and services used in the hand techniques (or hand crafts, some might say) of knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch and embroidery.  Products run the gamut from yarns and fibers, patterns and charts, hand painted needlepoint canvases, knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery threads and needles, to embellishments, buttons, accessories, supplies and more.

TNNA supports this community through a wide range of services and activities, far beyond what one would expect from the typical trade association.  In addition to managing four trade shows each year, TNNA actively creates and engages in a number of outreach initiatives designed to strengthen and grow the needlearts industry.
